Tribes decorate themselves differently depending on their levels and themes. Tribes can create specific decor once they've unlocked certain achievements. This includes dominance symbols and a background... for now.

Dominant Symbol

Tribe Dominant Symbols are tribe-created and themed by the tribe. The ability to create three Dominant Symbols is unlocked by the Aippaq’s Stamp of Approval achievement. These can be used instead of group provided Dom Symbols.These symbols are tribe locked and only available to members in their respective tribe. Please check your tribe’s Tokotna Lore page for their dominant symbol.
Tribe Dominant Symbol Rules:
  • All dominant symbols must be SFW and follow all rules outlined in the Official Group Rulebook.
    • Bad/Offensive Stereotypes will not be used.
  • All Tribal dominance symbols/Paints must follow the same rules and guidelines as handpaint dyes.
  • Files should be provided as PNGs with a minimum size of 300x300.
  • Symbols should be unique and identifiable from official group symbols and other tribes’ symbols.
  • Symbols must be themed around the tribe’s lore, deities, locations, or soul animal.
  • Photographs and stock imagery are not allowed.
  • Symbols cannot be copyrighted works or others' work used without permission.
Please note that by submitting a tribe symbol(s), the artist and founder acknowledge that the art will be uploaded to Tokotna and the rights will henceforth be owned by the group, to be used only as that specific tribe's dominant symbols.

Tribe Backgrounds

Tribe Backgrounds are tribe-created and usable as official backgrounds on Tokota’s imports. The ability to create one Tribe Background is unlocked by the To Summit all Up achievement. These backgrounds do not have hierarchy variants and will have the tribe’s emblem in the top left corner. All tribe backgrounds are available to all players regardless of tribe. Tribe backgrounds are applied with the Tribe Stone. Please check Tribe Background page for all available backgrounds.
Tribe Background Rules:
  • All backgrounds must be SFW and follow all rules outlined in the Official Group Rulebook.
    • Bad/Offensive Stereotypes will not be used.
  • Files should be provided as PNGs with a size of 2543 x 1936.
  • Backgrounds must be able to accommodate all sizes of builds so that their four paws are on the ground.
    • Please use the following template for sizing.
  • Backgrounds must be themed around the tribe’s lore, deities, locations, or soul animal.
  • Locations must be be viable in current Tokotna Lore, we may request corrections.
  • You cannot request your art be removed or re-purposed.
  • Backgrounds cannot be copyrighted works or others' work used without permission.
  • Backgrounds cannot be composed of photographs, stock imagery or 3D models.
  • Backgrounds should be submitted without any watermarks or credits.
  • A PNG of the tribe emblem will also need to be provided, minimum of 300x300.
Tribe Background Payment:
  • Payment for Backgrounds is $60 worth of In-Game Items.
    • Kexmart Standard Pricing.
    • Genos are not available for payment.
  • Payment goes directly to the artist or the tribe member who paid for the art with proof of payment.
Please note that by submitting a tribe background, the artist and founder acknowledge that the art will be uploaded to Tokotna and the rights will henceforth be owned by the group, to be used only as that specific tribe's background.

FAQ

  • If I buy a Tokota with a Tribe’s Dom Symbol do I have to change it?
    • No, if the Tokota has the Tribe Dom Symbol before being transferred to you then you may keep it. Just like the Admin Handpaint.
